R.A.D. aims to provide an outlet for juniors and seniors to be exposed to and prepared for college, apprenticeship, or the workforce through relational connections. We want to challenge students to step outside their comfort zone by making long-term goals for their future profession. Students receive assistance in preparing for college (SAT prep, college essay, applications, FAFSA, etc.) as well as learn useful life skills such as budgeting, how to dress for and behavior in an interview, how to build a resume, etc. If students attend all RAD sessions in a school year they will receive a $500 scholarship.
