After School Program

The After School Program provides a safe place where middle and high school students can go to escape the stresses that they face on a daily basis. The free program provides tutoring for students, time to hang out with friends in a healthy environment, weekly dinners, and group fun and games. The program is open from 3:15-7:00pm on Monday and Wednesday for middle school students and 3:15-5:30 on Tuesday and Thursday for high school students. Over 100 students are served annually and an average of 30-35 students attend daily.

Guys Night

Guys’ nights are hosted monthly for our middle and high school aged boys. These evenings are an opportunity to connect guys with positive male mentors, discuss relevant topics (self-esteem, healthy relationships, bullying) and cultivate confidence, leadership focused around the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Girls Night

Girls’ nights are hosted monthly for our high school aged girls. These evenings are an opportunity to connect girls with positive female mentors, discuss relevant topics (self-esteem, healthy relationships, bullying) and cultivate confidence, leadership, focused around the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

STEAM

STEAM is an approach to learning and development that integrates the areas of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. Through STEAM, students develop key skills, which include problem solving and creativity.  Our mission is to empower youth and families. Our STEM program will help to give youth the confidence and the necessary skills to address the practical problems that will come their way.

Reimagining Academic Dreams (R.A.D.)

R.A.D. aims to provide an outlet for students (Juniors and Seniors) of the West Chester Community to be exposed to and prepared for college, apprenticeship, or the workforce through relational connections. We want to challenge students to step outside their comfort zone by making long-term goals for their future profession. Students learn budgeting, how to dress for an interview, applying for financial aid etc. This past year, our R.A.D. program served 4 students each of whom received a $500 scholarship for completing the program.
